About The Instructor
Hello. Welcome to Erica Dawn Voices on Teachable! My name is Erica Dawn. I am a professional Voice Artist/Voice Acting Coach/Narrator/Instructional Designer, out of Atlanta GA. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me, and my background.
In 2015, I completed voice over training at YourAct Studios located in Norcross, GA, under the direction of Voice Actress/Instructor Della Cole, and occasional teachings from Jeffrey Umberger, ACM Talent Manager out of NYC, and former owner of the prestigious Umberger Agency. Upon completion of training, I was signed to the Voice Over division of Avery Sisters Entertainment Agency.
In 2021, I began providing coaching services, and my first course; Intro To Voice Over. In addition to coaching, I actively work as a commercial voice actor, ad content writer/creator, and audiobook narrator for Lantern Audio, an Emmy Award winning spoken word audio production company, and audiobook publisher. I have had the pleasure of narrating titles by well known Authors (Jessica Holter, Sol, Zane, Mary B. Morrison (NY Times Best Seller) to name a few.
In June of 2022, I was pleased to write and produce 3 additional courses for anyone interested in a career in voice acting. I have a wonderful, full roster of students, and I look forward to having you join the family.
